HandiFox™ Desktop System Requirements

• Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2/2012
• Recommended System configuration:
  • At least 2.0GHz processor
  • At least 1GB of RAM
  • 512 MB of disk space
• QuickBooks®:
  • QuickBooks US: QuickBooks® Pro, Premier, Accountant or Enterprise 2008-2022
  • QuickBooks CA: QuickBooks® Pro, Premier, Accountant or Enterprise 2009-2022
  • QuickBooks UK: QuickBooks® Pro, Premier, Accountant or Enterprise 2009-2022
• PDA requirements:
  • Android devices:
    • Operating System: Android 4.0 or higher
    • Device memory: at least 512 Mb of free space
    • Optional: camera with autofocus feature to scan barcodes
    • We recommend the following Android devices which HandiFox™ has been tested with: 
      Google Nexus 7.
      MC40 and TC56 Android ruggedized devices with built in laser scanners.
      Intermec CN51
• Barcode Scanner for Android devices:
  • Bluetooth barcode scanner with SPP (Serial Port Profile) type of Bluetooth connection. We recommend one of the following:
    • Socket CHS 7Ci
    • Motorola CS3070
    • Opticon OPN2006
• Label printer:
  • Brother QL-810W
    (Note: Labels can be printed with office printers and optional software from IDAutomation. Please call for details)
• Receipt Printers:
  • Zebra QLn220 2" mobile printer
  • HP 100 Officejet Mobile Printer with Bluetooth
  • Letter size printing in a vehicle can be accomplished using office WiFi printers supporting the HP PCL format. These are available from HP and Brother. An AC power supply and a wireless router are required in the vehicle.
